The year was extremely difficult for the entire swiss watch industry. The overall sales drop showed a figure around -24% compared to 2008.

The Catamaran Watch Company, despite big efforts on introducing novelties was not speared as the sales figures showed also a drop, althoug some encouraging results could be felt during the last quarter of 2009.
